What does Schattenjäger mean?

From German: "Shadow Hunter"
From Dutch: "Treasure Hunter"

If you mean this group ... well ... We like to say it's "Post-post dystopian-post-apocalyptic-but-not-really Victorian/Edwardian/baroque not-really-Vampire-and-demon-not-Steampunk madness set in a future Europe. Kinda." Originally following the escapades of Aden Delevoix and Galen Graves and a handful of other misfits in their rights to pursue bad guys and treasure -- even if they aren't supposed to.

There's a lot more to it than that, but there isn't enough room or time in the day to explain it. You could say that it is a work in progress in its original form, still -- possibly to become something in a more 'official' form, sooner or later.

So what is this Schattenjäger Guild business about?

In a nutshell, Schattenjäger Guild was an extension of the original Schattenjäger craziness -- only technically turned into a roleplay/writing project where everybody else can make their own characters and contribute to the setting.

The DA club has now been changed to a repository of related imagery instead, as the Official Site will be the source of all information from here on out.

Joining is easy! Just click the join button. For the moment, submissions are moderated, as character contribution needs to be approved before they are added to the additional character roster, but we are more than happy to see the various fan art that pops up.
